How it works

The paper target becomes an electronic hit display.

Using image comparison and an algorithm, TargetSpotter detects hits on the paper target and shows them graphically on the display.

Detection zone

Due to technical limits (camera resolution) and to keep the recognition rate high, detection is limited to:

25 m precision: ring 6 and inward
10 m air pistol: ring 5 and inward
25 m duel: ring 8 and inward

TargetSpotter is therefore aimed at ambitious sport shooters who regularly hit the black.

Spotting scope with smartphone mount — Spotting scope with smartphone

Compatibility note TargetSpotter detects hits from the camera image of a smartphone looking through a spotting scope at about 15–35× magnification. Recognition quality depends strongly on the smartphone, scope, camera mount and lighting. Please test compatibility with your setup in the free version before taking out the annual subscription. Function with every smartphone or spotting-scope model cannot be guaranteed.
